The REDDI is an all tube analog DI that produces a sound and character unique to itself.
Think of the Ampeg B15 era; that's this DI. It delivers thick, round, solid bass that fits perfectly in the mix.
It's also great for guitars, synths, any instruments, and vocals. The REDDI has a tube-based amplifier using the 6N1P output
tube feeding an A Designs custom-wound output transformer which provides the circuit path for your guitar or bass giving you a
sound that you can't get through any other device.
One of the key factors with any tube gear is transformers; both audio and power supply transformers. A Designs Audio custom-builds their own unique audio output
transformer to produce the specific sound they're after. To keep the REDDI at its lowest noise level A Designs employs a special toroid transformer in the onboard power supply.
Used by bassists Reggie Hamilton and Justin Meldal-Johnsen, and producer/engineers Tony Shepperd, Ted Perlman, and Dylan Dresdow.

What we're going to do is go back... WAY back! ...back into time... to the early 1970s, when the recording industry was starting to bloom with the new technology of solid state. Hit products were pumped out as fast as hit record--one after another. There was a creative industry within the audio world. It was, without question, a golden age. Some companies that emerged during that period were Neve, API, and Quad Eight. Although it's been decades, the benchmarks they set are still held as industry standards today. Little is known about Quad Eight, though many feel that they were the best in their field. While debating is usually best left to the history books, A-Designs took up the challenge to take a closer look into the past and decide on its own.
With much research, interviews, and listening, A-Designs came up with a product that they feel needs to see the light of day again. With Quad Eight Ventura, Coronado and Pacifica console preamplifiers for reference, they closely examined the design and composition of the heart and soul in the consoles of these great pieces. After much design, A/Bing, and beta testing, the result is a solid state, single space, rack mounted, microphone pre amplifier from the "glory days." Cloning being what it is (same old same old), A-Designs decided to head outside the box and make the tribute something other than the legacy. They added our own touch to bring it to present day applications of the recording world. And so the new A-Designs PACIFICA was born.

The Radial ProDI The Radial ProDI's are high-quality, full-range passive direct boxes equipped with custom made
audio transformers for exceptional signal handling without saturation and with extremely low phase distortion in the critical bass
and mid regions. The result is exceptional clarity and definition at an attractive price point. Ultra-compact and made of 14 gauge steel,
both ProDI models feature internal I-beam construction with a 'book-end' outer shell for extreme durability in the most demanding
environments. Available in single-channel (ProDI) or dual-channel (ProD2) stereo, these exceptional direct boxes offer performance
superior to any other DI's in their price range and are ideally suited for use with acoustic guitar, bass and keyboards
Uses: active acoustic guitar, bass, keyboards, active instruments
Input: single 1/4" instrument, and single 1/4" thru
Controls: Polarity, Ground Lift, Speaker, Merge, -15dB pad
Bandwidth: 20Hz to 20kHz
Outputs: balanced XLR Line (600 Ohm), 1/4"

The Radial JDI is a passive DI that employs a Jensen
isolation transformer for optimum audio performance, offering outstanding
linearity at all frequencies combined with extraordinary level handling,
without introducing distortion. Being completely passive, the plug & play
JDI does not require any powering and has the unique advantage of eliminating
60-cycle ground loops, buzz, and hum. This makes the JDI a definite favorite
with audio engineers. The JDI is great for guitars, bass, and keyboards
and is particularly adept with high-output, broadband instruments such
as active instruments and digital keyboards.
Uses: guitar, bass, keyboards, active instruments
Input: single 1/4" instrument, and single 1/4" thru
Controls: Polarity, Ground Lift, Speaker, Merge, -15dB pad
Bandwidth: 10Hz to 40kHz
Outputs: balanced XLR Line (600 Ohm), 1/4"
Price: $175.00 |

The Radial JDV Mk3 was designed for use in both the
studio and live performance and is suitable for all instruments where
added reach is required, when retaining the original sound of the instrument
without distortion or coloration is paramount. It introduces a concept
of "Zones" with choice of two inputs, four instrument amplifier
outputs, and a unity-gain transformerless output. Features include Drag
control for precise pickup load correction, 3.9 meg-ohm input impedance
for piezo pickups, hi-pass and lo-pass filters, full LED status indicators,
polarity reverse.
Uses: guitar, bass, keyboards, active instruments
