With all their experience in acoustics, dynamic control and sound design, AER reaches out into the field of professional electric bass amplification systems and introduces the AER Bottom Line Head one.
The concept: a small, lightweight two channel Class D integrated amplifier head that covers the range from North American punch to European HiFi orientated sounds. Head One can be used in three operational modes: 2-channel full-range mode, 2-way active mode and bridge-mode in combination with Cab One, Cab Two or Cab Three. It is equipped with tube emulation for drive sounds, two independent EQs, colour-switch and tone leverage.

Class D amps are getting more popular and by being efficient they can be made surprisingly small and lightweight. Besides these benefits they inherit a lot of problems (noise, distortion, cut-off) especially if they are used in limit mode. Their overall performance is extremely dependent on the design and the smart use of controls and protections to guarantee proper functionality. AER has done a lot to make that happen!

It didn't take much playing time for us to know Head One is one of the best sounding amps we've heard. This designation was determined with all EQ and tone shaping Off! It's also incredibily loud - don't be fooled by the power rating specification, that's European watts not U.S. watts!
Head One, when operated in 2-way active mode, provides DSP optimized output for AER's Cab One / Cab Two stack. The performance of this setup is simply amazing. Play it for yourself and you'll know.
